Pros

Aspects that make this credit card amazing.

  • Very high reward rate of wide range of spend which goes upto 33%
  • One of the very few credit card which gives rewards on business payments like GST, Advance Tax etc. and that also at a very high rate of 16.66%
  • Significant discounts of business related softwares, tools and services.
  • Relatively easy redemption options at flat rate of Rs.1 per reward points across flights and hotels through SmartBuy.
  • One of the best lifestyle benefits such as airport lounge program, golf program, dining discount on DineOut etc.
  • High class customer service, a dedicated customer care number which directly picks-up your call without long IVR navigation
  • Considering the target audience for this card, renewal fee waiver criteria of Rs.5 lacs per annum is achievable for the most users (specially if this is their primary credit card)

Cons

Aspects this credit card lacks.

  • Joining benefit doesn’t not fully recover the Joining Fee. Further, there is no benefits against renewal fee payments. But it may not bother much to people who can spend Rs.7.5 Lacs in year.
  • Earlier, there used to be acceptance issue with Diners Blub credit cards in India. However, over the last few years, acceptance has increased a lot and you will hardly find any merchant who accepts Visa credit card but not Diners Club cards in India. So, acceptance is no more a problem with this credit card.
